This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Numerous thunderstorms possible across the interior
and western sections of Puerto Rico. Plan to stop all outdoor
activity and move to shelters.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes across the interior and western sections of
Puerto Rico. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects anyone without
effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts likely in
some health systems, heat-sensitive industries and
infrastructure.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Excessive heat will continue each day in the lower elevations of
Puerto Rico. The risk of rip currents will return on Wednesday;
first to the northern, eastern, and western coast of PR, Vieques,
Culebra. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will appear each
afternoon mainly in western and interior locations. A tropical
wave will reach the islands on Friday.

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.

infrastructure.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Excessive heat will continue each day in the lower elevations of
Saint Croix. The risk of rip currents will return on Wednesday.
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will appear near the USVI. A
tropical wave will reach the islands on Friday.
