A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Atlantic Waters of Puerto Rico AND USVI from 10 NM to 19.5N...

At 1050 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorms,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms
were located over the outer Atlantic waters, moving southwest at 10
knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor or
avoid this area until these storms pass.

Intense lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
