.DISCUSSION...Northwesterly flow will prevail over the area today
allowing for good mixing which will boost the Clearing Index over
500. High pressure will build over the area Tuesday, bringing a
warming trend but also resulting in weak winds aloft, which will
keep the Clearing Index below 500. This high will move east by
Wednesday, allowing for an increase in southwest flow aloft both
Wednesday and Thursday, resulting in warm and dry conditions with
good mixing. High pressure will again build over the area Friday
and Saturday maintaining warm and dry conditions. Weaker winds with
this high will limit mixing both Friday and Saturday.
