At 205 PM EDT/105 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 7 miles northeast of Panama City Beach, moving southeast
at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Panama City, Lynn Haven, Panama City Beach, Gainer Spring, Bayhead,
West Bay, Bennett, Southport, Recota Beach, Vicksburg, and Camp
Flowers.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
