...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM TO 7 PM CDT FRIDAY...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Kansas, east central
Kansas, north central Kansas and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Thunderstorms may move in into portions of the area late tonight.
Some of these storms could have some strong winds. The overall
forecast trend is for storms to gradually weaken the further east
they get.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorms could redevelop Friday late afternoon into the
evening. If they do they could be capable of large hail, damaging
wind gusts, and an isolated tornado. Any storm that forms Friday will
also be capable of torrential rainfall.


A Heat Advisory is in effect Friday where heat indices range from
103 to 108 degrees in the afternoon.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Kansas, north
central Kansas and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Thunderstorms may move in into parts of north central Kansas from
the west tonight. Some of these storms could have some strong
winds. The overall forecast trend is for storms to gradually
weaken the further east they get.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorms could redevelop Friday late afternoon into the
evening. If they do they could be capable of large hail, damaging
wind gusts, and an isolated tornado. Any storm that forms Friday will
also be capable of torrential rainfall.

Heat indices Friday afternoon range from 100 to 104 degrees.
