At 828 PM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly in far
eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas and also west of a
Bartlesville to Eufaula line. They were most widespread and heaviest
in Okmulgee and Creek counties in Oklahoma and Carroll county in
Arkansas. The precipitation was in the Tulsa area. The precipitation
was in the Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville area. Movement was
to the southeast at around 30 mph. The average amount where it
rained last hour was around one tenth of an inch with maximum
amounts of three quarters to around an inch. Coverage, and intensity
increased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late
this evening , late this evening and into overnight, mostly cloudy,
showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms with temperatures 64 to
74 degrees and east winds up to 5 mph.
