Unseasonably hot temperatures will continue today. Afternoon
humidity levels will fall into the low 30 to low 40 percent range
this afternoon with southerly winds prevailing. A few isolated
thunderstorms are possible today and tonight, primarily across
northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas, north of Interstate 40.
Any rainfall amounts will remain spotty and not reduce ongoing
drought conditions. A cold front will arrive Sunday evening/night
with a good chance of rain (40-60% chance) and noticeably cooler
temperatures for early next week.
