...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM MDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN OGLALA LAKOTA COUNTY...
At 622 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles south of
Badlands National Park, or 39 miles north of Pine Ridge, moving
southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Lonesome Valley, Goose Neck Housing, Thunder Valley, Rockyford,
Sharps Corner, and southern Badlands National Park.
