FOR SOUTHEASTERN BUTTE...NORTHWESTERN MEADE AND NORTHEASTERN LAWRENCE
COUNTIES...
At 656 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 5 miles south of Zeona to near Whitewood, moving east
at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Spearfish, southeastern Belle Fourche, Newell, Nisland, Saint Onge,
Vale, Fruitdale, Castle Rock, Arpan, Owl Butte, Newell Lake, Dears
Ears Butte, and Belle Fourche Reservoir.
This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 8
and 12.
