Station WZ2559, operating on a frequency of 162.425 Megahertz and served by the Pendleton, Oregon Weather Forecast Office (WFO), will begin a 24-hour broadcast of weather forecasts and weather warnings to better serve the residents of Wallowa County, the many residents and visitors to the Nez Perce Wallowa Homeland, the Eagle Cap Wilderness, Hells Canyon National Recreation Area and Wallowa Lake in northeastern Oregon.
