...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN FAIRFIELD AND SOUTH
CENTRAL NEW HAVEN COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM EDT...

At 708 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bridgeport, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bridgeport, New Haven, Norwalk, Milford, Shelton, Fairfield, Hamden,
Stratford, Trumbull, Westport, Monroe, Orange, Weston, Redding, and
West Haven.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
