...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL CHAVES COUNTY THROUGH 700
PM MDT...

At 618 PM MDT, trained weather spotters reported a cluster of strong
thunderstorms producing landspouts along a line extending from near
Bottomless Lakes State Park to 6 miles south of Hagerman. Movement
was south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Landspouts, wind gusts up to 50 mph, and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects.

Locations impacted include...
Dexter, Hagerman, Bottomless Lakes State Park, Lake Arthur, and
Greenfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
