.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry conditions continue today and tomorrow with high
temperatures around 80 degrees and min RHs around 29-34%. There is
a chance for an isolated thunderstorm over the fire, though most
will remain over the higher terrain to the south and east of the
fire. Otherwise, rain showers are a bit more likely this
afternoon, though chances for wetting rains remain low. Hot and
dry conditions continue through the rest of the week as
temperatures soar into the mid 80s by Wednesday with min RHs as
low as 25%. Winds largely remain light through the forecast
period. Looking further, Thursday and Friday afternoon look to
come with enhanced risks for thunderstorms over the fire. At this
time widely scattered thunderstorms look likely, but scattered
thunderstorms are possible as both days will be active for
thunderstorms.
