Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue
tonight across much of the Northern Plains States. A few storms
in South Dakota are strong to severe. Expect overnight lows to
range from the mid 50s in northeastern Montana to the mid 60s in
southeastern Minnesota.

For Independence Day, expect scattered to numerous showers and
thunderstorms across the region, with perhaps an isolated severe
storm over southern Minnesota. Temperatures will cool into the
70s to lower 80s for most places. The weekend will then see
isolated to scattered thunderstorms at times, with high
temperatures remaining in the 70s to lower 80s.
