Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
522 PM EDT Tue Jun 25 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Hot and humid weather returns Wednesday with another round of
showers and thunderstorms late afternoon and especially Wednesday
night as a cold front approaches from the west. Showers and a few
storms may linger across SE New England Thursday morning,
otherwise improving conditions.

Lowest relative humidities Wednesday will be 40 to 55 percent,
except 65 to 75 percent over the Cape and Islands. On Thursday,
lowest relative humidities will be 50 to 60 percent, except 65 to
75 percent over the Cape and Islands.

.OUTLOOK...Friday through Tuesday...

Dry weather with low humidity for Friday. However we enter a
warming trend with increasing humidity into the weekend, which
will also increase our chances for showers and thunderstorms this
weekend. Turning drier and less humid early next week.
