979 FNUS55 KCYS 201914 FWFCYS Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY 114 PM MDT Fri Sep 20 2024 RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING .DISCUSSION... Above average temperatures with dry fuels, breezy conditions, and critical humidity readings this afternoon will create Red Flag to near Red Flag conditions for several areas across southeast Wyoming. Began seeing zone 427 hitting Red Flag criteria in the late morning hours and included Arlington in the Red Flag through 8pm tonight. Good to excellent humidity recovery is favored overnight before we have a cold front arrive tomorrow, which will reduce fire weather concerns.
