Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
209 PM MDT Tue Sep 24 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Elevated fire weather concerns are expected over the next several
days as a ridge of high pressure sits over the region. No
precipitation chances are expected through the end of the week.
Above average temperatures will also persist during this time,
helping lead to low relative humidity across a large portion of the
area. Thursday afternoon looks to be the best chance of critical
fire weather conditions as a shortwave passing to the north will
produce some gusty winds.
