The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Van Buren County in southeastern Iowa...
  Western Lee County in southeastern Iowa...
  Northwestern Clark County in northeastern Missouri...

* Until 830 PM CDT.

* At 740 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mount
  Sterling, or near Keosauqua, moving southeast at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bonaparte, Bentonsport/Vernon, Farmington, Mount Sterling, Indian
  Lake Park, Anson, Heath Memorial Conservation Area, and Shimek
  State Forest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
