This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
Hot and humid weather will continue today with afternoon heat index
values generally between 105 and 110. An Excessive Heat Warning is in
effect through 7PM this evening for the DFW Metroplex and surrounding
counties for heat index values exceeding 110 degrees.

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms today, generally south of
the Interstate 20 corridor. Strong winds and marginally severe hail
could accompany a few of the storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Oppressive heat with heat index values between 105 to 110 will
persist into next week.

There are low thunderstorm chances across parts of Northeast Texas on
Sunday.
