This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Areas of flooding will continue to affect portions of Polk
county as a result of heavy rainfall Friday night.

A Heat Advisory is in effect this afternoon and evening with
expected heat index values up to 108 degrees.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible during the late afternoon to
early overnight hours across the area. A few of these storms may
be strong to severe with the main concerns being wind gusts to 60
mph and hail up to the size of quarters. The main timeframe for
severe weather is 5pm to 11pm.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for Tuesday afternoon and evening
across southeastern portions of the area with expected heat index
values up to 105 degrees.

There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms across the area
on Tuesday.

There are additional periodic thunderstorm chances across much of
the outlook area from Wednesday night through Sunday.
