Overall dry conditions are forecast across the area this weekend and
into early next week...any storm chances look to be fairly scattered
in nature. Expecting cloud cover to diminish with time during the
day on Saturday...with mostly sunny skies for Sunday and Monday. The
main story in the coming days is the heat expected to build into the
entire region...with the overall hottest day currently forecast to
be on Monday. Highs for Saturday are similar to Friday in the 80s
and 90s...with widespread 90s for Sunday. High temperatures on
Monday are currently forecast to range from the mid 90s to just over
100 degrees...with widespread heat index values in the 100 to 105
degree range. A frontal boundary moving into the area on Tuesday may
provide a touch of relief in temperatures...especially for
northwestern portions of the area.
