An overall pleasant day is expected across the area today...with dry
conditions forecast and partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies.
Afternoon highs look to reach the mid 70s to mid 80s...with
generally northerly winds in the 10 to 20 MPH range. Periodic
thunderstorm chances return to the forecast Sunday on into the first
half of the new work week...mainly focused on the afternoon and
evening hours. Similar highs in the 70s and 80s are expected on
Sunday...with Monday and Tuesday the hottest days...reaching the mid
80s to near 100 degrees. Monday will also have gusty southerly
winds...with speeds of 20 to 30 MPH possible. Winds on Tuesday will
start southerly...but switch to the northwest as a frontal boundary
pushes through.
