Highs today will climb into the 90s with light southerly winds. A
few thunderstorms are possible this evening for areas west of
Highway 281. Storms may be strong to severe with the main concern
being for damaging wind gusts. Lows tonight will be in the mid 60s
to low 70s with mostly clear skies. Highs on Monday will be in the
upper 90s to low 100s with heat index values over 100 degrees. A
heat advisory is in effect from 1pm to 8pm Monday across the entire
area. Scattered thunderstorms are possible Monday evening...with
thunderstorm chances continuing into the overnight hours.
