...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MOFFAT COUNTY THROUGH 215
AM MDT...

At 134 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 27 miles southwest of Baggs to 39 miles west of
Craig to 31 miles northeast of Dinosaur. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lay, Maybell, and Sunbeam.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 40 in Colorado between mile markers 49 and 79.
 Colorado 318 between mile markers 37 and 60.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
