The areas affected include... Coastal waters from St. Augustine to Flagler Beach FL out 20 NM... At 617 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Ormond-By-the-Sea, moving northwest at 30 knots. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... This strong thunderstorm will likely produce winds to around 30 knots, and could pose a serious hazard for boaters. A special marine warning may eventually be required when this strong thunderstorm reaches the nearshore waters. Boaters should consider heading for shore before this strong thunderstorm arrives. Waterspouts are possible with this activity. If a waterspout occurs, move your boat away from it.
