Critical fire weather conditions are not anticipated over the next week for western and north central Nebraska. Of note however, a warm and dry stretch is underway with near or above normal temperatures to round out the week. Northwest winds will be breezy today with gusts exceeding 30 mph at times, and humidity values will likely fall to around 10% of thresholds. Precipitation chances return Friday and continue through the weekend, although the signal for widespread wetting rains appears low.
