This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon. Storms will
likely become severe with large hail and damaging winds the main
concerns. Later in the afternoon and early evening, a threat for
tornadoes will increase with a few possible. Locally heavy rainfall
will also be possible, and minor flooding in areas that have seen
recent heavy rainfall cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Additional thunderstorm chances arrive Friday afternoon and evening.
Storms may become strong to severe with large hail and damaging winds
the main concerns. Locally heavy rain may again lead to localized
minor flooding, especially for areas that see repeat heavy rains both
Thursday and Friday.

Thunderstorms will be possible each afternoon and evening Saturday
through Wednesday. A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be
possible Monday across north central Nebraska, otherwise the threat
for severe during this timeframe is uncertain.

Hot temperatures will return to the area on Monday with afternoon
highs in the middle to upper 90s for much of southwest Nebraska and
heat index values approaching the century mark.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
