PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Clarksville.

* WHEN...Until Sunday, June 23.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 25.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 PM CDT Sunday was 25.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.1
    feet early Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood
    stage Friday evening.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 PM CDT Sunday was 15.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage tomorrow
    evening to 14.9 feet early Tuesday morning. It will then rise
    above flood stage Tuesday morning to 15.1 feet Thursday
    morning. It will fall below flood stage again early Friday
    afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
