This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A Heat Advisory has been issued for the far southeastern Texas
Panhandle and Rolling Plains from 1 PM until 8 PM CDT.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms may be possible this afternoon
and early evening across the South Plains and far south central Texas
Panhandle. Any shower or storm that develops could produce strong
wind gusts to 70 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Heat index values of 105 to 108 will be possible across the extreme
southeastern Texas Panhandle and portions of the Rolling Plains
Saturday and Tuesday.

Chances for late-afternoon and evening thunderstorms remain in the
forecast for portions of the extreme southern Texas Panhandle, South
Plains and Rolling Plains Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
