The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee FL out 20 NM...

* Until 930 PM EDT.

* At 905 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located over Middle Cape Sable, or near Northwest
  Cape Sable. The severe thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Middle Cape Sable, Shark Point, Highland Point, Whitewater Bay, and
  Northwest Cape Sable.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
