An isolated lightning storm along the sea breeze from the Treasure Coast to Okeechobee county this afternoon and evening can`t be ruled out. .EXCESSIVE HEAT IMPACT... Heat will continue to be a concern across east central Florida, as temperatures this afternoon climb into the low 90s along the coast and into the mid to upper 90s across the interior west of I-95. Peak heat indices across the interior will reach 100 to 106 today, so be sure to take frequent breaks in the shade or in an air conditioned building if spending extended periods of time outdoors and also stay well hydrated. .RIP CURRENT IMPACT... A Moderate Risk of rip currents will exist at all east central Florida beaches today. Be sure to swim near a lifeguard and never enter the ocean alone. .FIRE WEATHER IMPACT... Minimum RH values will remain in the 35 to 45 percent range across the interior west of I-95 due to warm temperatures today. Winds are forecast to remain below 15 mph, with the east coast sea breeze making west-southwest winds become east-southeast. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY. A limited to elevated risk for excessive heat continues into the beginning of this week as temperatures climb into the 90s with peak heat indices reaching 100 to 107 degrees. At least a Moderate risk for dangerous rip currents will exist at all central Florida Atlantic beaches through the beginning of the week. A weak frontal boundary is forecast to approach the Florida peninsula on Tuesday, with increasing moisture leading to a return of rain and storm chances. Diurnal convection development will then continue through the remainder of the week. Sensitive fire weather conditions will continue across the interior through the middle of the week due to warm temperatures and near-critical minimum RH values. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
