...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled for September 25, 2024 for
the Area Near Kyles Ford in Hancock County Tennessee...

The National Weather Service Office in Morristown TN will conduct
a storm survey on September 25, 2024 beginning around 9 AM EDT
for the area near Kyles Ford in Hancock County Tennessee. The
survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved
through the area on September 24, 2024, and the radar indicated
tornado debris signature that was observed from KMRX at 06:23 PM
EDT along SR33 between Sneedville and Kyles Ford.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by September 25, 2024 5 PM EDT.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at https://www.weather.gov/mrx
