Widespread warm and dry conditions peak to day with only slight relief for some tomorrow. Expect poor humidity retention for areas away from the coast, with the driest conditions expected in the more interior valleys and high elevations. Overnight humidity recoveries into Tuesday will be somewhat limited, but will still offer some relief. Relatively light winds through the warming and drying trend will keep fire weather conditions from being hitting critical criteria. Wednesday offers some cooling and improvement in humidities. The end of the work week offers another, yet less-pronounced warming and drying trend. ...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA... Hot and dry weather will continue to build today. Interior valleys will most likely see highs up to 105F with minimum RH in the teens. While valleys will maintain good RH recovery from 70 to 80 percent, enhanced thermal belts will continue to have poor RH recovery early this morning along mid and high slopes of 20 to 40 percent. High elevation areas will experience enhanced, northeast to east diurnal flow this morning with isolated gusts up to 25 mph, and again tonight to a lesser extent. More moderate conditions will return later in the week. ##################################################################### ## ## ## Complete a discussion for each ECCDA segment below ## ## When done click transmit, product sent as KMTRFWLMTR ## ## ## ##################################################################### ECC010-240945- St Helena ECC Dispatch- DISCUSSION FOR Marin and Sonoma and Napa Counties 243 PM PDT Mon Sep 23 2024 Widespread warm and dry conditions peak to day with only slight relief for some tomorrow.
