This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms through early this evening may become strong
to severe, with a primary risk of damaging downburst wind gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Hot weather will continue through this weekend, with the hottest
conditions on Sunday, when heat index values will peak around 105.
These hot conditions will increase the risk of heat-related
illnesses.

conditions according to Standard Operating Procedures.
