...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL SWEETWATER COUNTY
THROUGH 1230 PM MDT...

At 1158 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles northwest of Bitter Creek Rest Area, which is 31 miles
northeast of Rock Springs, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central
Sweetwater County.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 130 and 135.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
