...Notable but below river flood levels expected on the Pecan
Bayou...

For the Pecan Bayou at Cross Cut:
* At 745 PM CDT Tuesday the observed stage was 17.45 feet.
* Action Stage:   16.0 feet.
* Flood Stage:    33.0 feet.
* Forecast: The Pecan Bayou is expected to crest near 17.5 feet later
  tonight, then fall back below Action Stage by early Wednesday
  morning, and continue falling slowly through the end of the week.

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio, local TV and radio stations, or
cable TV outlets, for the latest weather information, as additional
rainfall could affect crest forecasts.
