.DISCUSSION...Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms can
be expected late this afternoon and tonight, especially from southwest
to central South Dakota. A strong storm or two is possible across
mainly far southwest South Dakota. A stronger system and cold front
will move through Thursday afternoon and night, with a higher potential
for severe storms containing large hail and strong winds. Friday and
Saturday will be cooler, with some lingering showers and thunderstorms
on Friday. Warmer weather returns for Sunday and early next week with
near daily chances for showers and thunderstorms.
