673 WWUS20 KWNS 170410 SEL5 SPC WW 170410 KSZ000-171200- URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 425 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1110 PM CDT Mon Jun 16 2025 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Kansas * Effective this Monday night and Tuesday morning from 1110 PM until 700 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 80 mph likely Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...Widespread thunderstorms continue from northwest KS across southern NE. This activity is expected to undergo upscale growth, with the resulting convective line pushing southward/southeastward into KS. Damaging gusts are the primary risk, although some isolated hail is possible as well. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles north and south of a line from 20 miles southwest of Garden City KS to 20 miles north of Topeka KS.
