...FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

The Flash Flood Watch for Friday is cancelled for a portion of
central New Mexico, including the following area, South Central
Mountains.

Flash flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please
continue to heed any remaining road closures.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall will be
  possible again Saturday afternoon.

* WHERE...A portion of central New Mexico, including the following
  area, South Central Mountains. This includes the Ruidoso area burn
  scars.

* WHEN...Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Slow moving thunderstorms producing rainfall rates between 1
    to 2 inches per hour are likely across the Ruidoso burn scars
    Saturday. Antecedent conditions and heavy rainfall rates may
    lead to flash flooding and debris flow on and downstream of
    recent wildfire burn scars.
