...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of central New Mexico, including the following
  area, South Central Mountains. This includes the Ruidoso area burn
  scars.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Showers and thunderstorms will develop across the Sacramento
    Mountains late Monday morning peaking during the early to mid
    afternoon hours. Storm motion will be extremely slow and
    erratic. Antecedent wet soils from this weekend`s shower and
    thunderstorm activity along with heavy rainfall rates of up
    to 3 inches an hour will help to promote the potential for
    flash flooding and debris flow on the Ruidoso area burn
    scars.
