...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of central New Mexico, including the following
  area, South Central Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Slow-moving showers and thunderstorms with locally heavy
    rainfall will form over the Ruidoso area this afternoon.
    Rainfall rates may exceed 1 inch per hour in some of this
    activity, elevating the risk for burn scar flash flooding.
