Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 907 AM MDT, trained weather spotters reported that Walnut Creek has exceeded its banks and has flooded State Road 2. Rapid creek and arroyo rises have already caused minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.1 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hagerman and Lake Arthur. - As of 0908PM MDT, State Road 2 is closed at the intersection with Jackson Road. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
