...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Southwestern Lincoln County in central New Mexico...
Southeastern Socorro County in central New Mexico...
* WHEN...Until 300 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 957 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate rain and
Meteorologists reported water over roads and washed out dirt
roads near and south of US Highway 380 across far southeast
Socorro County and far southwest Lincoln County. This is causing
arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
