In southeast New Mexico, northeastern Chaves. * WHEN...Until 1230 AM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 936 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - These most recent rains are already on top of 1 to 2 inches that fell earlier this afternoon and evening. Soils should be soaked allowing for easy ponding and minor flooding concerns. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
