130 WGUS85 KABQ 142257 FLSABQ Flood Advisory National Weather Service Albuquerque NM 457 PM MDT Tue Oct 14 2025 NMC027-150100- /O.NEW.KABQ.FA.Y.0206.251014T2257Z-251015T0100Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Lincoln NM- 457 PM MDT Tue Oct 14 2025 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM MDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central New Mexico, including the following county, south central Lincoln. * WHEN...Until 700 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 456 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ruidoso and Glencoe. - Lone Pine Canyon, Silva Canyon, and Crow Canyon emptying into the Rio Ruidoso along U.S. Highway 70 near Glencoe. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
