Critical fire weather conditions are not expected through the next seven days. Outside of valley areas, fair to good ventilation will prevail today, becoming poor to fair in most areas Sunday through the end of next week thanks to the lack of deep mixing. Gusty northwest wind gusts of 30 to 50 mph are likely in northern and eastern New Mexico today, with a light breeze elsewhere. Winds will remain light in most areas next week, except for a strong breeze just east of the central mountain chain. ................................................................
