Showers with embedded storms will prevail across central and northern areas tonight, with isolated showers elsewhere. Friday`s round of showers and storms will focus over western and central New Mexico once again. Rainfall amounts will range from one tenth of an inch of one half inch in most areas, with locally higher amounts. Rain chances trend lower from west to east over the weekend. Moisture returns to the area late Monday, with wet weather favored areawide mid to late week. Cooler temperatures are forecast to accompany this period of wetter weather next week as well. ................................................................
