Rich monsoon moisture will cross central and western areas with numerous showers and thunderstorms Thursday through Saturday, and also over the northeast on Thursday. Drier air is forecast to filter mainly over northern parts of the state on Sunday and Monday, leading to a downtick in thunderstorm coverage and rainfall intensity. After high temperatures near and below average, as well as humidities above 15 percent, during the latter half of this week, readings will climb near and above average early next week. Humidities will also plummet below 15 percent at lower elevations of northwest and west central New Mexico on Monday. ................................................................
