Quiet and warmer conditions are expected today. Temperatures will continue to climb on Tuesday, especially across eastern NM. Gusty west to northwest winds will impact the Central Highlands where humidities will fall to near 20 percent. Expect elevated fire weather conditons in this area Tuesday afternoon. Quiet and warm conditions are on tap for Wednesday and Thursday, then southwest winds will increase areawide on Friday ahead of an approaching storm system. Elevated to near-critical conditions are possible across eastern NM. Valley rain and mountain snow are now expected Friday afternoon through the weekend as the system slowly crosses New Mexico. Light snow accumulations are currently expected across the mountains. ................................................................
