There is a heightened risk of flash flooding from widespread and long duration showers and thunderstorms beginning today. This will spread west to east across the state through today, persisting and peak in intensity through Tuesday, before steadily tapering off through the day Wednesday. Windy conditions Tuesday alongside heavy rains may also threaten downed trees. Conditions slow clear out Wednesday through Thursday across the state with remnant abundant moisture lingering over the state allowing for morning fog and excellent recoveries into next weekend. ................................................................
