Modest southerly to southwesterly breezes this afternoon. Increasing moisture and humidity arrive into eastern NM, either from the Gulf with southerly winds generally south of I-40, with cooler northerly winds generally north of I-40. Drier southwesterly winds favored along and west of the central mountain chain. Isolated to scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms favored east-central NM Monday afternoon, spreading into the Rio Grande Valley Tuesday, and toward the Continental Divide Wednesday.
